Meaning you are in Crypto for the technology, instead of only a way to invest money. When someone says they buy crypto, it doesn’t neccesarily mean they understand crypto, some may only be in it to invest. This may be more prevelent with people buying De-Fi memecoins. Someone who is in it for the tech states they buy Crypto, because they have an interest in the technology.
